About Nicole

More about Nicole and her life path!

She is a vivacious, energetic coach who brings enthusiasm to everything that I do. As a life coach, she draws from a broad and varied background, able to relate to any situation. Her life experiences ranges from veterinarian support work (love of animals is one of her passions) to senior administrative support functions with a major contractor in the field of Homeland Security.

Along the way she co-owned and operated several small businesses, including public market restaurant and a construction/finishing company. It’s highly unlikely that she will run into a business situation that she hasn’t seen before.

Born and raised in the small industrial city near Sudbury Ontario, a mining district of central Canada, her family was primarily French-speaking and as a result grew up bilingual in English and French. As a young adult, she moved to Vancouver on Canada’s west coast where she created a home and began a family. In 1994 her son, Korey, was born. With amicable differences, she found herself as a single mother for 2 years.

She then had the opportunity to move to Texas, where she lived with her second husband for 7 years. Working in a family-owned landscaping and irrigation business, this gave her the option to be a stay-at-home mom. Nicole played a big role in the local PTA and all sports activities where her son was involved. In 2003, she found herself and Korey moving back to the west coast, Washington State so Korey could be near his father and where she was close to my long time friends and family.

After establishing a foundation for a new life, she decided to take a little time off to find out who she really was. 2004 she was able to design and helped build her home in Bellingham, WA. After working in the veterinary industry and then moving onto a higher position in the Homeland Security industry, she felt that she needed to regroup once again for she was fighting a losing battle of who she was and where she belonged.

After being released from a contract, it seemed that it was time to regain her focus once again. One constant theme running through her colorful life is the love of veterinary medicine. Interspersed with her other business activities she worked directly in the animal health care field and gravitates back to it in one way or another. After taking various courses and seminars, based on her training and experience, in 2006 she launched her own interactive web site featuring on-line vet reviews. They live with their pets, Suzie, Lucy and Tosha, 2 cats and a dog which she sometimes incorporate into her coaching sessions as therapeutic pets.

Coaching caught her eye in 2005. Becoming a Coach was not a decision; it was a discovery. Her real passion presented itself in 2007 when she discovered the wonderful world of Life Coaching. The opportunity came via a friend who was a coach and stated “Nicole I want you to check this out, you would be so good at it.” With much defiance and being a know it all, Accomplishment Coaching, reflected a life altering experience. She is now able to share her extensive experience with others.

Coaching has given her the freedom of ‘finding herself’ and appreciating what she sees.” She is now able to recognize patterns and any feeling of discontent disappears. She sees and feel definite shifts in myself which enables her to support her clients to achieve their full and meaningful life and dreams. Through this process she was able to discover her true purpose is life which is LOVE! This becomes very obvious when she speaks to anyone.

Working with the support of her own coach, she was constantly learning and growing and she reflects that in her sessions. She is able to experience more success in business, tackle obstacles with ease, and ultimately continue to grow. Her coaching reflects much of her life experiences, from personal to financial, which supports the connection that she instantly creates with her audience. She practices what she coaches! The enthusiasm she feels for her work is contagious. She models the life that she wishes for her clients: balanced with spiritual, creative and professional pursuits, healthy relationships, and an ever-growing faith in the universe.

When she finds the time in her busy schedule, she enjoys sky skiing, boating, 4X4ing, camping, computers, photography, home improvements and renovations. All of this she shares with her son and her friends!

PERSONAL SNAPSHOT

• Lives in Bellingham, Washington, mid point between Vancouver, Canada and Seattle, Washington.
• She is a mother, daughter, and friend.
• She currently shares her with a wonderful Son, a Shit Tzu and twin sister cats
• Is an avid boater, sky skier, water skier, tennis player, and cook all the while sharing these passions with her son
• She has a diverse collection of music and a love for ballroom dancing
• She owned a construction company, a boutique restaurant and pursued a career in the animal health industry as a veterinarian assistant
• Worked with Homeland security
• Loves to work on cars, build things and is very outgoing and is a risk taker
• Comes from a large family, eight in total, whom all live in a small French community located in Northern Ontario, Canada
• Enjoys traveling and has a goal to travel throughout Europe and Africa
• Is passionate about dolphins, animals, nature, fun and life
• VERY grateful for the life that she has had the opportunity to have created!

FAMILY

• Has a 15 year old son whom she shares a loving relationship of dual households with his father
• Grew up in a large family: four boys and four girls and two very involved parents
• Mother: Fernande grew up in a French speaking family with several brothers and sisters
• Father: Arthur. A dedicated guy from rural Ontario, who also grew up in a French community. Incredibly resourceful and intellectual, he met my mother and her 6 children in early 1960 and then became their stepfather.
• All of the brothers and sisters have grown to have their own families and great lives
• All live in the area where they grew up and have stayed close to one another

PUBLIC SPEAKING

As a teenager in the ’70s, she was in tune to the leader and speaker that was beginning to flourish. She was Vice President of the Student Council and this leadership experience continues throughout her life. Bellingham Chapter of Toastmasters Whatcom Young Professionals Bellingham Chamber of Commerce All of this supported me in overcoming my fear of public speaking
